Now it costs even less to jump start your staff training, thanks to a support package that further reduces the cost of investing in national qualification training by up to $400 per person. This is in addition to the other funding and support services Tranzqual already offers you.
What is jump start?
Jump start is the name of the Tranzqual training initiative that means the entry cost to training for new qualifications is less so everyone can increase skills by further training.
How less is less?
- All training engagement fees will be removed. That means you will pay nothing up front . That's a saving of $150 per trainee for each qualification.
- The completion bonus, paid to employers, is increased from $150 per trainee to $250.
- Funding support for Limited Credit Programme (LCP) trainees is increased from $300 to $400. (Please discuss with Tranzqual as there are exceptions to this).
- Funding support for most Modern Apprentice (MA) trainees is increased from $750 to $900. (Please discuss with Tranzqual as there are exceptions to this).
Is there an expiry date on jumpstart?
Yes. The jump start training package is only available until 31 December 2010.
Who is eligible?
Anyone who works in one of Tranzqual's four industry sectors is eligible: Road Transport, Passenger Services, Warehousing & Logistics and Ports & Stevedoring.
