
Jump Start training support programme
Now it costs even less to Jump Start your staff training. Tranzqual is offering a support package that reduces the cost of investing in national qualification training by up to $400 per trainee.
This is in addition to the other funding and support services Tranzqual already offers employers.
Other industry training assistance for employers
Training your staff makes good business sense. Trained and skilled workers lead to a more productive workforce with lower staff turnover*, helping your business get ahead.
The benefits of Jump Start for employers:
- all training engagement fees are removed. You pay nothing up front, saving $150 per trainee for each qualification
- the completion bonus paid to employers is increased from $150 to $250 per trainee
- funding support for trainees under the Limited Credit Programme (LCP) is increased from $300 to $400**
- funding support for Modern Apprenticeship (MA) trainees is increased from $750 to $900.**
Take up Jump Start before 31 December 2010
Our Jump Start training package is available until 31 December 2010.
Anyone who works in one of Tranzqual's four industry sectors is eligible to take up the Jump Start training package for training towards a national qualification. Our industry sectors are road transport, passenger services, warehousing and logistics, ports and stevedoring.

This research found that the percentage of trainees completing a qualification who were still with the same employer 12 months after completion was seven percent higher than non-participants. The percentage employed in the same industry was eight percent higher.
