Literacy and numeracy resources

We have developed a range of contextualised literacy and numeracy resources, and updated key training material to incorporate extra literacy and numeracy activities.

All new training resources are written with embedded literacy and numeracy design elements such as plain English, glossaries, and self-checks. This means they are easier for trainees to use.

These are the resources currently available:

24089 - Literacy and numeracy development activities

Activities designed to improve vocabulary and build numeracy skills. This resource includes guidance for trainers working with trainees of differing levels of capability.

For trainees working towards various national certificates or those about to undertake a Class 2-5 licence, or P or V endorsement course.
